Amy Rohof, P.eng.

Amy is an Associate in the structural engineering group at Entuitive. She has over 20 years of experience in building design, specializing in institutional and healthcare projects. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary in 2005 while completing her internship working for a construction management company. She is proud to be a founding director of WCE Calgary and looks to WCE as a way to drive greater retention of females within the engineering community and connect women engineers with the support and resources they need to rise to the top in their careers. Outside of work, Amy enjoys camping, hiking, skiing and travelling with her husband and children.

Mikayla morrey, P.ENG.

Mikayla Morrey is a Structural Engineer at WSP in the Buildings group, focusing on major infrastructure projects. After graduating from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Applied Science, Mikayla started her career designing electrical substations before switching industries to achieve her dream of designing buildings. Mikayla’s wide range of experience gives her a unique perspective and influences her creative mindset. Driven by her passion for gender diversity and inclusion in the consulting engineering industry, Mikayla joined the WCE Vancouver founding Board of Directors in 2019.  When presented with the opportunity to move to Calgary, Mikayla recognized the need for a safe and accessible community where members can connect and share experiences. Wanting to fill this gap, Amy and Mikayla partnered to launch a new chapter of WCE! Being a founding Director of WCE Vancouver and Calgary is one of Mikayla’s proudest achievements, as her work empowers and supports fellow women in the consulting industry.

Natalie is the Marketing + Communications Manager at AME Group, combining creativity with strategic insight to build strong brands and lasting client relationships. A graduate of the Alberta University of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), she expanded her skillset by pursuing diplomas in marketing, and interior design, reflecting her passion for blending creativity with strategic communications. With a keen interest in the dynamic nature of marketing in the A/E/C industry, she embraces trial and error as a pathway to innovative solutions. As the Communications Director for Women in Consulting Engineering, Natalie is excited to join a team of inspiring women, dedicated to supporting and empowering others in the consulting industry.

ANGELA LE, MS

Angela holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a primary focus in the development of solid-state batteries. Before earning her Masters degree, Angela had concurrently pursued degrees in Mathematics and Biological Sciences. As a graduate student, she observed the lack of women within the field of engineering, which motivated her to join WCE Calgary’s Board of Directors. She is enthusiastic about her role as Finance Director, and is passionate about advancing gender diversity within the engineering community. Outside of work, Angela enjoys powerlifting, figure skating, volleyball, rock-climbing, reading, board games, crocheting, camping and hiking. She is always enthusiastic about trying new activities.

Monika Villeneuve, P.Eng., MEL, PMP

Monika is a Project Engineer at WaterSMART, focusing on water resource management projects across Alberta. With a decade of diverse experience, she has worked in the Canadian energy sector, international social enterprises, and water and wastewater consulting services. Monika holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Master’s degree in Engineering Leadership, specializing in Integrated Water Resources Management from the University of British Columbia. Driven by a passion for sustainable resource management, Monika leverages her technical expertise and skills in facilitation, communication, and collaboration to lead multidisciplinary teams in advancing solutions that support a sustainable economy while protecting water resources now and for future generations. Monika is excited to serve as the WCE Logistics Director where she is committed to empowering women in consulting engineering and inspiring them to become change-makers within the industry. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring nature, photography, and playing the piano.

Sarah is an Intermediate Bridge Engineer at McElhanney where she specializes in bridges, structures and hydraulics. She graduated from the University of Calgary, obtaining a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with a minor in Structural Engineering and a B.A. in Economics. Sarah has seven years’ experience in bridge and structure design and construction, and at McElhanney, works on a variety of projects including design of new structures, inspection of pedestrian bridges, and bridge repairs and maintenance. Since university, Sarah has been passionate about engaging and supporting women in STEM and creating a fun and safe environment for her peers. Sarah is excited to be a part of WCE and promote its values and help empower female engineers.

Revati is a Project Coordinator at WSP Rail & Transit, Western Canada group. After graduating from University of Calgary with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Revati started her career working on mega transportation projects. While navigating through the industry, Revati realized the importance of having good mentors. With this realization, she is enthusiastic to take on the role of Mentorship Director where she can help foster healthy mentor-mentee relationships, and support fellow women in consulting industry. Outside of work, Revati is passionate about music, and is a part of a South Asian band called Madhuban Performing Arts. She enjoys reading and cooking variety of dishes during weekends.

Samantha is a senior process engineer and team lead in the water group at Associated Engineering, where she specializes in water and wastewater infrastructure projects. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph, and is passionate about creating sustainable solutions that impact both local communities and the broader environment. Throughout her career, she has committed to excellence in the engineering field and to mentoring the next generation of leaders. Her involvement with organizations like Girl Guides of Canada, along with past committee experience with WCW, AWWA, and WIN, reflects her dedication to supporting and empowering women in STEM. Samantha is both honored and excited to contribute to the ongoing success and growth of WCE, and looks forward to fostering greater opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and leadership within the industry.

Nicola Whelan-Henderson, be

Nicola is a civil engineer, she completed her BE(Hons) studies at University of Canterbury, New Zealand. She is a Capital Systems Planner with Alberta Parks, where she oversees long-term infrastructure planning across the province’s park system. Nicola has worked as a consultant on water projects in both New Zealand and Canada. She has also worked in project management for New Zealand’s Department of Conservation, where she oversaw the construction of a visitor centre and infrastructure upgrades. Nicola relocated to Calgary last year, keen to explore a new backyard and experience the Canadian Rockies. Passionate about the outdoors, she spends her free time whitewater kayaking, backcountry skiing, hiking, mountain biking and camping. Nicola is excited to serve as Programming Director for WCE Calgary, curating engaging professional development and social events that foster connection, growth, and community among women in consulting engineering.

Cindy is a seasoned professional engineer and project management professional, currently serving as a Team Leader at the City of Calgary, she leads the delivery of vertical infrastructure projects. She holds a degree in engineering from the University of Calgary, graduating in 2008, and initially built her career as a structural engineer before transitioning into project management in 2017. Cindy is passionate about contributing to projects that enhance the City’s infrastructure and improve quality of life for everyone. She is a strong advocate for fostering authentic relationships within the industry and is excited to be an active member of WCE where she is dedicated to supporting and empowering the community of women in engineering.
