Amy Rohof, P.eng.

Amy is a Senior Engineer in the structural engineering group at Entuitive. She has over 15 years of experience in building design, specializing in institutional and healthcare projects. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary in 2005 while completing her internship working for a construction management company. She is proud to be a founding director of WCE Calgary and looks to WCE as a way to drive greater retention of females within the engineering community and connect women engineers with the support and resources they need to rise to the top in their careers. Outside of work, Amy enjoys camping, hiking, skiing and travelling with her husband and children.

Mikayla morrey, e.i.t.

Mikayla Morrey is a structural Engineer-in-Training at WSP in the Buildings group, focusing on major infrastructure projects. After graduating from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Applied Science, Mikayla started her career designing electrical substations before switching industries to achieve her dream of designing buildings. Mikayla’s wide range of experience gives her a unique perspective and influences her creative mindset. Driven by her passion for gender diversity and inclusion in the consulting engineering industry, Mikayla joined the WCE Vancouver Board of Directors in 2019. When presented with the opportunity to move to Calgary, Mikayla recognized the need for a safe and accessible community where members can connect and share experiences. Wanting to fill this gap, Amy and Mikayla partnered to launch a new chapter of WCE! Being a founding Director of WCE Vancouver and Calgary is one of Mikayla’s proudest achievements, as her work empowers and supports fellow women in the consulting industry.

Natalie Podio, E.I.T.

Natalie is an Intermediate Designer at Entuitive. She graduated from the University of Calgary, obtaining a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with a minor in Structural Engineering. From there, she obtained an M.Eng. in Structural Analysis of Historical Constructions from the University of Minho, Portugal and the Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic. Natalie has a keen interest in the design, renovation, repurposing, and restoration of structures. At Entuitive, she works on a variety of projects, ranging from the restoration of existing structures to the design of new buildings and additions. With an eye for detail and a love for learning, Natalie is always eager to discover more about the field. Natalie is thrilled to join WCE as the Communications Director. She is excited to be a part of this dynamic team of women and to support and empower women in the consulting industry.

Lauren Jans, P. Eng.
Logistics Director
Transportation
Lauren is a Transportation Engineer with five years of experience in the consulting industry after graduating from the University of Calgary with her B.Sc. in Civil Engineering. Returning to the industry after 10 years developing crisis-management and negotiation skills as a stay-at-home parent, she is enthusiastic about applying her knowledge of multi-disciplinary projects to WCE endeavors as Logistics Director. A firm believer in the power of collaboration, Lauren is eager to promote connections between professionals in WCE’s equitable and inclusive community. In her free time Lauren enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family, baking, and joining friends for games.

Nada Hammoud, E.I.T.

Electrical | Smith + Andersen
Nada graduated from the University of Calgary in 2020 and started her career at Smith + Andersen, where she is now working as an Electrical Engineer-in-Training. Nada spent the first couple of years of her career working on a variety of tenant improvement projects, particularly in the retail and office sectors. She is now excited about branching out and gaining exposure to a wide variety of healthcare projects. Since graduating, Nada has been looking for a community that allows female engineers to empower each other and bond over shared experiences. She is now proud to join WCE as the Membership Director and is looking forward to bringing female engineers together to guide and support one another.

Hayley Whitington, B. Eng., B.EC

Water Resources | Integrated Sustainability
Hayley is a Project Manager at Integrated Sustainability, specializing in Civil and Water Resources projects. Prior to her move to Calgary in 2022, Hayley worked as a consulting Civil Engineer in the water sector for 7 years in Adelaide, Australia, leading projects which involved the design of water recycling and reuse infrastructure.
Throughout her career she has had the opportunity to meet many inspiring women in the engineering industry, and hopes to create a space for like-minded people to connect and build relationships.
She is excited to bring her past experiences, passion and enthusiasm to WCE as the Mentorship Director.

Katelynne Saville, P. Eng.
Outreach Director
Mechanical | Remedy Engineering
Katelynne is an Associate at Remedy Engineering. A Professional Engineer with APEGA, she completed her B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta and has spent the last 15 years in the consulting world. The process of seeing something come to life through all phases of project delivery has kept her excited to learn more and adapt to the changing building systems world. Kate also has a passion for building community and does that through volunteering with Girl Guides of Canada, focusing on programming to provide opportunities for girls to get outside and get exposure to STEM. In her role as Outreach Chair, she is looking forward to introducing WCE to the greater community and offering opportunities to inspire like-minded women to get involved. In her spare time, Katelynne enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs and getting outside with friends and family.

Brenna is an Intermediate Designer at Entuitive where she specializes in structural design and engineering. She graduated from McGill University with her B.Eng. in Civil Engineering and a minor in Environmental Engineering. Brenna has a passion for creating innovative and sustainable designs that positively impact the city. With her strong technical skills, attention to detail and outgoing personality, she consistently delivers high quality work to her clients and creates lasting relationships. Brenna is now taking on a new role as the Programming Director for WCE and is looking forward to the new challenge and opportunity to make an impact in the industry. She is excited to bring her skills and experience to plan meaningful events that address the unique challenges women face in the consulting industry while helping to create a fun and inclusive community.

Kelsey Anderson, P.Eng.

Kelsey is an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager at Introba, with over 8 years of experience in building engineering, having completed various types of work from small Tenant Improvement Renovations to Large-Scale, High Rise Residential projects. Kelsey has developed a passion for forming strong and authentic working relationships and building positive and collaborative project teams. She currently holds a role as employee lead for her company’s Womxn’s Employee Resource Group and is pursuing her Certificate in Professional Management at the University of Calgary. When she isn’t engineering, Kelsey makes time for lots of coffee and camping adventures with her husband and two dogs. She’s excited to join WCE as Sponsorship Director to continue to grow the organization, supporting and empowering women in engineering and increasing gender diversity and inclusion in the industry.
