WCE Calgary hosted our first summer garden party celebrating International Women in Engineering Day sponsored by RJC!

In honor of International Women in Engineering Day, we recognized the important contributions of women in engineering and celebrated the achievements of our members. The event took place at the beautiful Inglewood Lawn Bowling Club. Attendees had the opportunity to practice their lawn bowling skills while enjoying light refreshments and an ice cream sundae bar – making for a perfect summer evening.

So often we minimize our accomplishments without taking time to celebrate what we have achieved. We showcased the proudest accomplishments of eight members from the WCE Calgary community and invited attendees to add theirs.

Note that WCE is an inclusive community. While our events are curated for those working in consulting engineering, much of our content will interest those working in similar industries – you are welcome to be part of our community. All genders are welcome and encouraged to attend our events.
