WCE Calgary was thrilled to present an engaging communication workshop specifically designed for women in the consulting engineering industry. This workshop empowered attendees to effectively assess and deliver technical content by understanding their audience’s communication styles.

Attendees enjoyed a transformative session led by Avnish Mehta, an expert communications coach with extensive experience working with women in our field.

Avnish is a born and raised Calgarian with a global client base. He has built three successful companies in the last 15 years.  Currently he heads up Stand and Command, a presentation and public speaking consulting practice, is an owner of the Village Brewery and is in the midst of raising capital to build mix use real estate to help address affordability, food security and food sustainability. Avnish is an active volunteer and currently sits on the Boards of FARE Capital, Accent Free (a tech start up), Heritage Calgary and Globalfest. 

Through interactive exercises and personalized feedback, attendees discovered their authentic presentation style and improved their confidence and accuracy. The two-hour session combined learning and practical application, ensuring an engaging and productive experience.
